About LoDown

LoDown is a duo from the historic southern crossroads of Highways 53 and 41 in the foothills of northwest Georgia.  Lainey Richardson (guitar, vocals) and Diana Bishop (vocals) have been singing together around campfires and on backroads their whole lives. 

 

As young teenagers, they began performing together at local venues and quickly developed a unique sound, blending bluegrass, rock, and country music. Diana's soulful tone and Lainey's bright harmonies pair beautifully with Lainey's guitar style, which merges rhythm and lead.

 

Lainey and Diana are also gifted songwriters.  Musical influences include singer songwriters and bands such as The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Chris Stapleton, The Steeldrivers, John Mayer, Kacey Musgraves, and Tyler Childers.
